Return Terms & Conditions:
Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will apply to returned items.
Sample Service: We offer a sample service, which allows you to return items for a full refund within 30 days. This can be useful if you plan to order a larger quantity.
Return Postage: Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer, and must meet the following conditions:
Contact Us: To initiate a return, please contact us by email at enquiries@northernhardwaresupplies.com or call 01423 326455. Provide your invoice/order reference, the name or code of the items, and the reason for return. We will send you a returns note, which must be included in the package.
Condition of Items: Goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. If items are returned damaged, with missing parts, or in damaged packaging, a refund will not be issued. Damaged items incurred during transit will not be accepted, so please ensure proper packaging.
Responsibility for Return Shipping: The return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Northern Hardware Supplies Ltd is not liable for returned items until they are received at our premises. We recommend using a signed-for delivery service for your return.

Please ensure your invoice number is clearly written on the return package.
Refund Processing: Returns are processed within 14 days of receipt. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, excluding delivery charges on the original order.
Important: Please do not refuse delivery. If you wish to return an item, please accept the delivery and contact us to arrange the return. Refused deliveries incur a ?15 fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
Special Orders:
We cannot accept returns for non-stocked or bespoke products, including keyed alike locks and master keyed cylinder systems, unless they are faulty. We also reserve the right to decline the cancellation of special orders that have been partly or fully made.
Faulty or Missing Items:
Please inspect your goods upon delivery. If any items are missing, incorrect, damaged, or faulty, please contact us within 7 working days. Do not return products before contacting us to discuss the best way to resolve the issue.
Missing Items: We will verify stock and parcel weights to confirm the shortage. If we are at fault, we will resolve the issue by sending the missing items.
Faulty Items: We may request photos of faulty goods or arrange for the items to be returned for inspection. Once the fault is confirmed, we will either replace or repair the items, or provide a refund. The method of resolution is at our discretion.
Our liability is limited to the sum paid for the goods and, if applicable, the cost of return shipping (if agreed in advance). We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
Exchanges:
If you would like to exchange an item, please place a new order and pay for it separately. The returned item will be refunded once we have received it. Exchanges will be processed separately, and refunds for returned goods may take up to 28 days.
